Grackle

Monday, 1/5, 11:00 am-12:00 pm

Accessibility means that everyone—regardless of their ability—can interact with your information or artifacts. Not only is making your materials accessible the right thing to do ethically, as of April 2026, it is required. Grackle is a Google suite extension or add-on that automates checks, guides fixes, and easily converts your Google content (documents, slides, and sheets) to compliant, accessible formats in compliance with digital accessibility standards. During this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to add the Grackle extension to your Google documents, slides, and sheets, and will see an example remediation process in a Google document or slide deck. There will be time for attendees to try Grackle in their own Google environment, and to share questions and advice.
