Do you need to record a presentation or a webinar, or create a simple video tutorial? This workshop will look at a couple of ways to record an online event without having to learn complicated video editing tools and techniques. We’ll talk about options in Zoom for how to share your screen beyond just…sharing your screen.
We’ll also take a look at Camtasia to see some options for recording, annotating, and editing video to create a tutorial. Camtasia can be used to record your screen and your voice, then edit it to clean it up (remove those ummms and uhhhs, for example), add transitions and titles, add captions, or zoom in and out on important areas of the screen. You can create as simple or as flashy a video as you wish.
If you’d like to explore Camtasia beforehand and you’re using a MIWorkspace computer, you can install it by visiting the Managed Software Center.
