Bias Interruption Training for Search Committees

Tuesday, 4/7, 2:30 pm-4:30 pm

This training session is exclusively for individuals serving as members of a library search committee. Drawing from the U-M “Bias in Everyday Life” program, this session focuses on helping search committee members recognize how bias may influence the candidate search and interview process and provides practical strategies to interrupt such biases. Completion of this training is required for anyone who will participate as a member of a search committee for the library within one year of candidate interviews.

The URL for this session will be included in the confirmation message you receive 5-10 minutes after you register, as well as in an automatic reminder message sent two days prior to the session.
