Join the Art Alliance at the end of summer and try your hand at a fun craft–diamond painting. Amanda Schlecte hosts a “calm before the semester” opportunity to create your own bedazzled bookmark. Diamond painting is similar to paint-by-numbers but instead of paint, sparkly beads are placed on a number or symbol to create an image. The bookmarks are adhesive so there is no glue or mess. The craft is beginner friendly, can be finished at the workshop or on your own at home, and we will have different designs to choose from!
Registrations are preferred for ordering supplies and catering, but drop-ins are okay as supplies last. Refreshments will be served at this event. Please fill out the Art Alliance’s accommodation request form if you have dietary restrictions or other accessibility needs.
This event is made possible thanks to a grant from the Research and Creative Projects Committee (RCPC).
