GenAI Instruction Orientation (AAEL & Zoom)

Thursday, 4/17, 10:00 am-11:00 am

This is a hybrid session, offered concurrently in-person and online. If you intend to attend remotely, you will use this Zoom link, which will also be included in your confirmation email if you register.

Do you receive questions about generative AI (GenAI) in research consultations? Have you been asked to “incorporate GenAI” into an instruction session? Are you interested in how the Library is responding to GenAI instructional needs? If so, this session is for you. In this 50-minute workshop, Sarah Barbrow and Jeremy York will introduce the GenAI Instruction Primer, one of a number of deliverables of the GenAI Instruction Team. Participants will leave understanding how they can use the Primer to assist in providing consultations about GenAI and to develop learning materials, lesson plans, and assessment strategies for instructional sessions.
