Harnessing the Power of Emotional Intelligence

Monday, 1/5, 9:00 am-10:00 am

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, understand, and manage your own emotions and the emotions of others. EQ consists of four core skills—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. These skills will help build strong, trusting relationships, creating a culture where employees feel heard and valued — a place where they are engaged and motivated to produce great results. In Harnessing the Power of Emotional Intelligence, learners will:

  • Discover what EQ is and its impact on performance — at work and beyond
  • Understand key research findings on EQ in the workplace
  • Define and explore the four core skills that compose Emotional Intelligence
  • Learn how to enhance EQ skills with simple, proven, and actionable strategies
