Psychological safety is essential for creating a positive work culture where individuals feel valued, respected and empowered to contribute their best. It fosters open communication, learning, collaboration and innovation, ultimately leading to higher performance and organizational success. This course will explore what psychological safety is (and is not) and how leaders can contribute to a positive, values-based workplace culture.
In this session, attendees will learn how to:
- Define psychological safety and explore its importance in the workplace
- Connect psychological safety to maintaining a values-based culture
- Employ strategies that promote psychological safety in the workplace
This 90 minute session is geared toward skills for supervisors or aspiring supervisors, but is open to all interested staff. This training supports the following expectations of supervision:
