Skip Level Engagement

Please join the Management Development Committee for a session on Skip Level Engagement. A skip level meeting provides an opportunity for employees to share their experiences, discuss their work, and connect with senior leadership (those who supervise the work of other supervisors). Skip level meetings remove the direct reporting dynamic, fostering open dialogue and building stronger, more transparent relationships across departments.

During this session, you will:

• Understand the purpose and benefits of skip level meetings
• Gain insight into employee expectations and the intended outcomes
• Explore effective structures and key components for meaningful meetings
• Hear firsthand perspectives from leaders who have facilitated or participated in skip level conversations
