Friday, 10/20, 12:00 pm-1:20 pm

Looking for innovative and engaging ways to communicate your research?

Interested in developing multimedia course assignments, or alternative methods for instructional delivery?

Do you have a story to tell with your data?

Esri’s ArcGIS StoryMaps provide a powerful and engaging approach for public outreach, dissemination of research, educational activities, and more! In this workshop we will explore StoryMaps’ intuitive interface for combining interactive maps, text, images, and multimedia content to author a web-based, visually-compelling, accessible, responsive narrative. We’ll also discuss the portability, longevity, and preservability of StoryMaps.

This workshop will include a hands-on exercise where participants will author their first StoryMap!

(This will be a virtual workshop, and Zoom connection info will be sent to registered participants shortly before the workshop begins.)
