In this workshop, you will learn the basics of visualizing geographic information and creating your own maps in a Geographic Information System (GIS). Open source and proprietary mapping and GIS software and online tool options will be described, and exercises will be done in ArcGIS Pro, a desktop GIS program available through a campus license. Students will leave with a roadmap for learning more beyond this short, basic GIS intro workshop.
This session is only available via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration and a few days prior to the session date.
