Be sure to “Sign in with your organizational profile,” then enter “umich.edu” and authenticate via the familiar U-M login page. Popular topics include Data Analysis, including short courses on Excel, SPSS, R, Access, and data visualization best practices; Adobe Suite essentials, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more; and literally a million other topics. This hands-on, online tutorial was designed as an introduction for UROP students, but is appropriate for anyone at U-M. It brings together well-developed training material from Middle Tennessee State University, San Diego State University, University of Colorado, and Michigan State University, and includes specific recommendations for the U-M community. Badgr Digital Badges in Canvas
Badgr will become a native Canvas tool during the 2018-2019 academic year, and this 59-minute overview is a straightforward introduction to Why and How one might offer digital badges, sometimes called “micro-credentials” to acknowledge course or program progress.
