Learn the basics of QGIS, the free open-source desktop geospatial software. In this workshop you will gain hands on fundamental GIS skills including how to make a choropleth (color shaded) map, load shapefiles and .csv table files into QGIS, join data to spatial information and edit features. Participants will leave with resources for learning more QGIS. No previous GIS experience is required.
