In late February, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced that the elements of a Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plan are changing. The new format requires less information overall, and researchers will be required to use the NIH’s new DMS Plan Format Page. The changes are going into effect for any NIH grant application with a due date on or after May 25, 2026. Join us to learn about the updated requirements for writing a DMS Plan for the NIH.
