Library Launchpad: Workshop Series for Graduate Students: Explore Library Spaces and Services

Tuesday, 9/29, 10:00 am-11:00 am

Library Launchpad is a series of library workshops aimed at graduate students on the Ann Arbor campus.

Join library experts to learn about research services and spaces for graduate students, and to get comfortable in your new academic home. In this informal walking workshop, you will get a guided tour of the Harlan Hatcher Library, U-M’s largest and most historic library.

During the tour, you’ll explore the building’s layout, including study spaces, reading rooms, collection areas, and computing spaces. Beyond the physical space, you’ll be introduced to the services that will support your research throughout your graduate career, such as librarian consultation services in all disciplines, material pickup and delivery services, and off-campus access to our extensive online and digital collections, including popular article databases like Google Scholar, JSTOR, Web of Science, and ProQuest.

Please note: We will be moving through library spaces, with a few opportunities to sit down.
