Introduction to Library GIS Resources – Social Explorer & PolicyMap

Tuesday, 9/29, 1:00 pm-2:30 pm

This 90-minute session will include a broad overview of what is available to you through the U-M Library for your GIS needs, including tools and data from ESRI (the creators of ArcGIS), with a focus on two sources of data/basic analysis that the Library subscribes to: Social Explorer, and PolicyMap.

There will be brief demonstrations of the capabilities of some of these tools.

No experience required.

Please bring a laptop with Chrome or Firefox if you wish to follow along.
