Considering new updates to Title II of the ADA, it can often be difficult to tell what your responsibilities are when working on projects with a variety of digital media, and how you can fulfill those responsibilities. This workshop will provide an overview of:
-
Common digital formats, such as documents, images, audio, and video
-
Requirements to meet the updated Title II regulations for these formats
-
How to test or analyze that media,
-
Basic digital accessibility concepts,
-
Accessibility features of digital media,
-
Tools and processes to use to fix issues you might encounter, and
-
Resources and contacts for when you might need some additional help.
By the end of the workshop, you will have an understanding of what actions to take to have more accessible content representing your project.
