Blizzard Book

Tuesday, 2/24, 3:00 pm-5:00 pm

Ready to try something cool and crafty? Join us for a Blizzard Book Workshop! The Blizzard Book is a super creative structure invented by book artist Hedi Kyle, who whipped it up during a snowy day (hence the chilly name). This funky little book is made from just one long sheet of paper folded up in clever ways, creating pockets to stash tickets, business cards, and all sorts of little treasures.

While there are a few different Blizzard Book styles out there, we’ll be sticking to the classic version for this workshop. We’ll use long strips of kraft or wrapping paper to create a small book with pockets perfectly sized for business cards, plus a cardstock cover to finish it off and keep it closed.

Don’t worry—it’s not too tricky, but bring your folding fingers! The Book Arts Studio is sponsoring two identical two-hour sessions (just pick one). Most folks will be able to finish long before our time’s up.

Ready to fold, chat, and make something awesome? Sign up and let’s get crafty!
