In this session, we will cover how to create accessible documents using both Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Topics include:
- Using proper heading styles for structure and navigation
- Creating accessible lists and tables
- Choosing appropriate font styles, cases, line spacing, and text alignment
- Writing in clear, inclusive, and accessible language
- Formatting link text for accessibility
- Adding alternative text to images
We will also introduce the Grackle extension for Google Docs, a helpful tool that scans your document for accessibility issues and guides you through fixing them.
