Incorporating GenAI Assignments and Tools Into a Large, Elective, Gameful Course: Challenges Confronted and Lessons Learned

This session will focus on how GenAI tools can enhance our educational practices by integrating human agency with technology and fostering interactive learning experiences that blend creativity and critical thinking. We have several vignettes of AI-driven projects, such as generating dynamic content for virtual patient interactions, using technology to drive improved content questions, and developing technology-based scaffolding assignments to engage students and improve the instructor-experience.
