Are you interested in using command-line file systems, but maybe also a little intimidated?
This basic introduction to the Unix shell will help demystify the command line! We’ll cover: basic file system structure and navigation; creating new directories; moving and renaming files; and basic use of a text editor.
This is a hands-on workshop, so plan to bring a laptop with you; we’ll also ask you to do some software installation beforehand. (Registrants will receive directions by email.)
