Are you interested in using command-line file systems, but maybe also a little intimidated?
This basic introduction to the Unix shell will help demystify the command line! Part 2 picks up where part 1 left off, and covers: use of pipes and filters; using loops; and basic scripting in the shell.
This is a hands-on workshop, so plan to bring a laptop with you; we’ll also ask you to do some software installation beforehand. (Registrants will receive directions by email.)
