Overview of Campus GIS Resources

Welcome to a new Fall semester! This hour-long workshop will give a brief overview of GIS and mapping resources available to U-M affiliates with time at the end for questions. This includes free and open-source data and tools, and resources available through your University of Michigan Library. Tools discussed will include the ESRI ArcGIS suite of products (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, StoryMaps, Survey123, etc), Michigan Open Data, Social Explorer, Policy Map, and others.

No previous experience or knowledge of GIS or geography is required.
