GIS tools and best practices are applicable across many disciplines, from history to public health! Your research tells a story! ESRI’s ArcGIS StoryMaps is one of the most commonly used GIS resources on our campus across all disciplines. This workshop will be an introduction to what StoryMaps are and whether one is right for your project. There will be time for Q&A at the end where we can talk about participants’ specific projects. No experience necessary.

Curious about maps? The Clark Library has one of the largest map collections in the country, spanning over 450,000 maps and atlases. This interactive session will start with a brief overview of map reading, after which participants will be encouraged to browse a selection of maps and atlases from the Clark Library and ask questions.
