Just-In-Time Consulting

Our consultants from across the university are here to assist you with last-minute questions or assistance as you prepare for a remote Winter 2021 semester. Inside this virtual space, you will have access to experts on everything from Zoom and Canvas to pedagogical methods for online learning, community engagement, and library resources. We are here to help you, just in time. Advance registration is not required, but registering will give you the benefit of a reminder email on the day of the session.

What you’ll need

We will use Zoom as our videoconferencing space. You will need your U-M credentials to enter our Just-In-Time (JIT) Zoom room during one of our drop-in times. If you need to install Zoom, visit ITS’s Zoom Setup instructions or contact the U-M Help desk for additional assistance.

How it works

Once you enter the Zoom room, one of our JIT Concierges will direct you to a more-private breakout room to discuss your needs with a consultant. Don’t worry if you’re not a Zoom expert, we will guide you along. In addition to the more-private breakout rooms, we will have dedicated specialists hosting topic-specific breakout rooms on topics like Canvas, Linked-In Learning, and Zoom itself.
