In this workshop we will explore image-based resources and learning activities with Generative AI tools that will offer opportunities for students to apply their language skills and analyze cultural representations based on the prompts they use to generate the images. U-M GPT DALL-E and Adobe Firefly are two tools provided by the University within a protected environment.  We will spend time learning about examples that include generating images based on vocabulary, illustrations for students storybooks, emoji summaries of text or video content. We will also dedicate some hands-on time for you to experiment with the activities and tools, ending with a share-out conversation.
